Djokovic already set the records for the most Masters 1000 titles (40) and finals (58) in his career. Now he can also add the most semi-finals. On Saturday he will play his 77th semi-final at a masters tournament, beating Rafael Nadal, who played 76.
The 25-year-old De Minaur played his first quarter-final in Monte Carlo. It was an exciting match, in which Djokovic ultimately won. The 36-year-old world number one is the oldest semi-finalist ever at the tournament.
