Things are going badly for Vitesse. On the field. And off it. The future of the Arnheimers is hanging by a thread, also because of the takeover plans that have long been hanging over the club. The latter, of course, affects performance inside the lines. The supporters of Vitesse are not happy about that. They protested to the KNVB on Monday.
On Monday there was an association meeting in Zeist. There a group of Vitesse fans entered with a banner ’15 months! The KNVB is destroying us’. Salient detail: at that meeting, the takeover of Vitesse was not discussed, reports De Telegraaf.

At Vitesse, Coley Parry has been poised to become the owner for some time. However, the KNVB licensing commission is still investigating the American, who does already boss Leyton Orient and Patro Eisden.
As it looks now, the KNVB will not agree. That would immediately give Vitesse a debt of 15 million, making the crisis even bigger.
Vitesse is bottom of the Eredivisie with 11 points from 16 games.
