The Premier League action keeps coming and there is a jam-packed schedule this weekend as we enter the home straight.
With loads of games to choose from, we’ve picked out three key fixtures featuring three of the top four. And, of course, if you’d like a little fun, we’ve created a tempting acca that will line your pockets with £64 from just a £10 stake.
It also comes off the back of a Thursday night winner where we turned £10 into £108!
Liverpool vs. Burnley
Saturday 11 July, 15:00
Despite being crowned as champions, the Reds have still got plenty to play for, since the Merseysiders are chasing a couple of notable records. Their midweek win over Brighton means that Jurgen Klopp’s side became the fastest team to reach 30 league wins (in just 34 games) and they require nine more points from their final matches to set a new overall points record.
It’s Burnley’s turn to visit Anfield and the Clarets will arrive in high spirits after their 1–0 victory over West Ham last Wednesday. Sean Dyche’s men are only three points adrift of Wolves in sixth heading into this weekend’s match, but Liverpool have won every single one of their home matches in the league.
This could be tricky for the visitors and Liverpool to win and over 1.5 goals @ 2/5 is the first leg of this acca.
Sheffield United vs. Chelsea
Saturday 11 July, 17:30
Chelsea face a tough-looking trip to Bramall Lane in their quest to finish in the top four. Sheffield United secured a last-minute win over Wolves in their previous match, whilst Frank Lampard’s Blues defeated Crystal Palace 3–2.
The Blades are good defensively, but Chelsea are in a rich vein of form in front of goal having scored 13 goals in their six fixtures post-lockdown.
Chelsea’s back line looked porous against Palace and we’re going to back them to score as well as concede again this weekend. Back both teams to score @ 20/21 as the second leg of this acca.
Brighton vs. Manchester City
Saturday 11 July, 20:00
Things don’t get any easier for Brighton. They play host to Manchester City at the AMEX after losing 3–1 Liverpool on this ground a few days ago.
But you know what? That scoreline doesn’t tell the whole story of that game. Graham Potter’s outfit impressed against the Reds and it was only a really sloppy start that made life super-difficult.
However, Pep Guardiola’s men are looking to end the season in style after surrendering their crown. City thumped Newcastle 5–0 last time out and we can see a similar scenario here. One player to score in that game was Raheem Sterling and we’re backing Sterling to score anytime @ 11/8 as the final leg.
Accumulator Summary
- Back Liverpool to win and over 1.5 goals @ 2/5
- Back both teams to score in Sheff Utd vs. Chelsea @ 20/21
- Back Raheem Sterling to score anytime @ 11/8
Accumulator odds: 5.4/1
